Opening Doors to Christ

Welcome!

...to the internet site opendoorstochrist.org.

For those unable to attend church in their local settiing, the internet makes it possible to meet the needs of anyone world-wide who would like to get closer to Jesus Christ - including seekers, Christians and pastors.

You will find that we, at opendoorstochrist.org, are a community of people whose aim in life is to extend the influence of God in our world. The Bible is central to all that we believe and to the way that we live our lives.  We care about each other and pursue honest relationships.  Our experience of the transforming power of Jesus Christ motivates us to reach out to the world around us personally and through the internet.  We seek to love others with the love that comes from God Himself.

We are a group of Christians believers. We celebrate our Salvation and seek to experience our lives together. The Psalmist wrote, "How wonderful it is, how pleasant, for God's people to live together in harmony." Life is meant to be shared. The Bible calls the meeting of Christians "fellowship."

There are many ways to grow in Christ.  While it is possible to worship in a crowd, we believe that it is difficult to fellowship by yourself. Humans have a need to be involved with others - whether its a Sunday School Class, a small group that meets at the church building or in someone's home or at the park or within an internet group such as this.  We understand that there are people that cannot go to small groups for many reasons.  You may study here with us anonymously or you may get involved in forum discussions under the <Community> drop-down menu or devotional discussions under the <Devotional> drop-down menu.

We strive to be Authentic - not superficial.

You are invited to become part of this community and discover God's plan for you.  Here you will have an opportunity to develop loving relationships and to find encouragement from the community.
